Birth Rate is the total number of live births per 1,000 in a population in a year or period. In simple words, The birth rate in a place is the number of babies born there for every 1000 people during a particular period of time.
​​​​​​Whereas, Death Rate is the number of people per thousand who die in a particular area during a particular period of time. Usually calculated as the number of deaths per one thousand people per year.
