Commercial Agriculture(1) Crops in great demand are grown in commercial agriculture. Crops are raised on a large scale with the view of exporting them to other countries and for earning foreign exchange.

Plantation Agriculture
(1) Single crops are raised on a large area.
(2) It is practised on the hilly areas of North Eastern States of India, West Bengal, The Nilgiris, Anaimalai, and Cardamon hills of South India.
(3) Example- Tea, Coffee, Rubber, Cocoa, Sugarcane, Bananas, Coconut, etc.
