(I) In case of elastic materials, if force is removed then the material get back to their original shape.
For plastic materials they remain in the same state after withdrawing force.
(II)The limiting load beyond which materials no longer behave elastically is the elastic limit.
(III)Elastic materials obey Hooke's law but plastic materials do not obey Hooke's law.
(IV)After elastic limit, if we apply small force, a large strain will be there and it never gets recovered.
(V)The applied force changes atoms position of a plastic material but elastic materials remains same.

Rubber is an example of elastic materials. Any metallic materials will be an example for plastic materials.
