INERTIA OF DIRECTION
(1) the inherent property of a body by
virtue of which it cannot change its state
of motion is called inertia of motion .
(2) It is due to inertia of motion that a rotating fan continues to rotate for some time even after it is switched off or a person falls when he jumps from a moving bus.
