1. Pollination is defined as the process of transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma for the purpose of fertilization in plants.
2. Fertilization is the process by which the fusion of male gamete, i.e. sperm and female gamete, i.e. egg of an organism, takes place.

1.Pollination is the transfer of pollen from the anther to the stigma of the same of a different flower.	1. Fertilization is the process taking place in the flower after the pollen reach the stigma and the pollen tube is produced which grows down the style to the ovary.
2. Pollination is of two types : Cross pollination and self pollination.	2. Fertilization is of two types: Internal and External fertilization.
