Primary ColoursSecondary Colours
  1. When two or more coloured lights are mixed together, they form a different coloured light. However, some colours cannot be produced by mixing other colours. These colours are called primary colours.

  1. Colours obtained by mixing any two primary colours in equal proportions are called secondary colours.
2. There are three primary colours- red, blue and yellow. Any colour can be produced by mixing these three primary colours in different proportions. 2. There are three secondary colours- green, violet and orange.
