Differences between slow combustion and rapid combustion:

Slow combustion

Rapid combustion

Slow combustion: It is a form of combustion which takes place at low temperatures.Rapid combustion: It is a type of combustion in which a large amount of heat energy is released.
A part of the fuel may remain unburnt.The whole fuel burns to leave no residue.

A substance burns at a moderate rate.

Example:- Digestion of food, Respiration, Cellular respiration.

A substance burns at a very fast rate.

Example:- Burning of Matchstick, Combustion of LPG.
