Speed Velocity
The distance covered by an object in a unit of time. The displacement covered by an object in a unit of time.
Speed= $\frac{D i s \tan c e}{T i m e}$ Velocity= $\frac{D i s p l a c e m e n t}{T i m e}$
It is a scalar quantity. It is a vector quantity.
Ex: Object moving with 20 m/s. Ex: Object moving with 20 m/s in the east direction.
