Solution

(i)
Hill reaction NADP reduction
It is also known as light reaction, as it takes place in the presence of light. It is also known as dark reaction, as it can take place in dark also.
It includes absorption of light and splitting of water into hydrogen ions and oxygen. It involves reduction of NADP into NADPH and formation of glucose.

(ii)
Photosynthesis Photophosporylation
It is the process of capturing the sunlight by chlorophyll of plants and using the solar energy to convert water and carbon dioxide into glucose. It is the process of conversion of ADP into ATP by the addition of Pi (inorganic phosphate).
