District Forum:-

1]Establishment: District Forum is set up by the State Government.

2]Jurisdiction: It is jurisdiction extends to the whole of the district.

3]President: A person who is or has been or is qualified to be District Judge may be its President.

4]Number: There can be more than one District Forum in a District.

5]Money: It can entertain complaints claiming not exceeding Rs. 20 lakh.

6]Control: The State Commission has administrative control over all District Forum within the State.

State Commission:-

1]Establishment: State Commission is set up by the State Government.

2]Jurisdiction: Its jurisdiction extends to the whole of the State.

3]President: A person who is or has been a Judge of High Court may be its President.

4]Number: There can be only one State Commission in a State.

5]Money: It can entertain complaints claiming more than Rs. 20lakh but not exceeding rupees one crore.

6]Control: The National Commission has administrative control over all State Commission in the country.
