Vasopressin Insulin
Diabetes insipidus is caused due to the deficiency of Vasopressin which is secreted by the posterior lobe of pituitary gland. Diabetes mellitus is caused due to the deficiency of Insulin which is secreted by beta cells of pancreas.
Excess amount of glucose is produced with this disorder. Excess amount of water is produced with this disorder.
