Divide 20marbles between Raju and Tanu in ratio of 2:3?

Step 1:By unitary method:

Total number of marbles=20

Marbles are divided at ratio =2:3

Let "x" be common in given ratio.

So,

2x+3x=205x=20x=205=4

The value of x is 4

Step 2: Number of marbles with Raju=4×2=8

Number of marbles with Tanu =4×3=12

Hence, Raju has 8marbles and Tanu has 12marbles with them.
