Given,
The share of A and B is $12:13$
$\frac{A}{B}=\frac{12}{13}$
=$k$ [let]
$=>A=12k$
$=>B=13k$
Also,C's share is $40$percent of the total of shares of A and B
$\therefore$C's share=$\frac{40}{100}(12k+13k)$
$=>\frac{40\times 25k}{100}$
$=>10k$
Now,
$12k+13k+10k=2800$
$=>35k=2800$
$=>k=\frac{2800}{35}$
$=>k=80$
$\therefore$A's share=$12\times 80$
=Rs.$960$
B's share=$13\times 80$
=Rs.$1040$
C's share=$10\times 80$
=Rs.$800$
