Solution

A's shar after 5 years = B's share after 7 years
A(1+5100)5=B(1+5100)7
AB=(1+5100)75=(105100)2=(2120)2=441400
Since the total present amount is Rs. 3364
A' share = 3364×441441+440=3364×441841
=4×441
=Rs.1764
B's present share = Rs. 3364- Rs. 1764 = Rs 1600
