The correct option is C 5000, 3000
Let the first part be x.
Second part $= 8000 - x$
We have
$\frac{x \times 5 \times 12}{100} = \frac{(8000 - x) \times 2 \times 18}{100}$

$5 x = 24000 - 3 x$

$8 x = 24000$

$x = 3000$
$∴$ First part = Rs. 3000.
Second part = Rs. 5000.
