The correct option is A 1024 cm3
The composite object can be divided into three cuboids as shown in the figure below.


The first couboid is of dimension
16 cm×8 cm×4 cm.

Therefore, its volume is 16×8×4=512 cm3

The second couboid is of dimension
12 cm×8 cm×4 cm.

So, the volume of this cuboid is 12×8×4=384 cm3

And as the third cuboid is of dimension
4 cm×8 cm×4 cm,
its volume is
4×8×4=128 cm3

Total volume =512+384+128
=1024 cm3
