Divide the park shown in Fig. into two rectangles. Find the total area of this park. If one packet of fertilizer is used for $300sqm$, how many packets of fertilizer are required for the whole park?

Area of the rectangular block $ABCD=length\times breadth$
$=(150\times 100)m^2$
$=15000m^2$
Area of the rectangular block $ADFE=length\times breadth$
$=(270\times 180)m^2$
$=48600m^2$
$\therefore$ Total area of the park $=15000m^2+48600m^2=63600m^2$
Number of the packets of the fertilizer used for $300m^2=1$
$\therefore$ Number of the packets of fertilizer used for $=636000m^2=\frac{63600}{300}=212$.
