DNA copies are produced by replication of the DNA. During the process of replicaation, the DNA is copied on to the daughter DNA. In this copying process slight mistakes may arise which may not be rectified.
Such errors of copying of the DNA result in variations . So the DNA molecules formed by replication are not identical.
