Question

Do bisexual plants cross pollinate?

Open in App
Solution

Self pollination can only occur in bisexual flowers while unisexual flowers must cross pollinate because they lack either male or female parts and hence require another plant or flower for pollination. Cross pollination does not occur in bisexual flowers.
