Question

Do the Lasers produce the Coherent light ?

Open in App
Solution

Two beams of light are coherent when the phase difference between their waves is constant.

The Laser light has the following properties:

1 Laser light is coherent, directional, and monochromatic.

2 Laser light is monochromatic which means that it is of a single wavelength and color.

3Laser light is highly directional and is emitted as a relatively narrow beam in a specific direction.

Therefore, Lasers produce coherent light.
