A ribosome is a complex chemical system found inside living cells that generate proteins from amino acids during protein synthesis or translation.
Because plant cells are eukaryotic, they do have ribosomes.
They are made up of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) and protein and are mostly located in the cytoplasm, while some working ribosomes can also be found in the nucleus of eukaryotic cells.
In every living cell, ribosomes are essential for protein synthesis.
