Question

Do the diagonals of paralleogram bisect corresponding angle? Why?

Open in App
Solution

No, diagonals of a parallelogram do not necessarily bisect the angles.

If the parallelogram is a square or rhombus then the diagonal bisect the angles.

But for a rectangle which is also a type of parallelogram the diagonal will not bisect the angles.

So generally speaking the diagonals of a parallelogram do not necessarily bisect the angles.
