Do the particles in a solid object show any movement?

Open in App
Solution

Yes, the individual molecules in solids do move, but they are not as free as those molecules in liquids and gases hence you cannot notice solids flow, but on a microscopic level they do move but this movement is hard to notice with naked eyes.
