3. The reaction between acid and the salt takes place as follows: ${\mathrm{CH}}_3\mathrm{COOH}+\mathrm{NaCl}\to {\mathrm{CH}}_3\mathrm{COONa}+\mathrm{HCl}$
4. Hence from the above reaction, we can say that when vinegar reacts with salt hydrochloric acid $\left(\mathrm{HCl}\right)$ is produced.
