Standard coins and token coins are different, and they can be distinguished on the following points:
Standard coinToken Coins
(a) Full-body coins are those whose face value and intrinsic value are the same.(a) Token coins are those whose face value is much more than their real and intrinsic value.
(b) They are made of precious costly metals.(b) They were made of cheap inferior metal like nickel, copper.
(c) Full-bodied coins are treated as unlimited legal tender. They can be used for making big payment to an unlimited extent.(c) They are used for making small payments. It is limited legal tender money.
