Yes. The body sinks deeper in liquid of lower density than in a liquid of higher density. Here is an example from our life . We take two vessels .We pour fresh water in the first vessel and water from the Dead Sea (water in deadsea has high salt content than in ordinary sea water )in the second vessels . Then we put 2 balls of same size and mass in each vessel. We can sea that the ball in the fresh water sinks more than the water in the denser water.
