Solution

Dear student,
The conduction of electricity in water is possible because of the presence of ions.
However, the sugar is a nonelectrolyte and typically a polar covalent substance that dissociates into molecules, not in ions in water. Therefore, a sugar solution with sugar molecules and water molecules is a nonelectrolyte.
