Question

Does acceleration depend on the force?

Open in App
Solution

Newton's second law of motion can be represented as

F=m×aa=Fm

Where F is the force

m is the mass of the object

a is the acceleration

Therefore, from the above relation we can conclude that an object's acceleration is directly proportional to the force applied to it and inversely proportional to its mass.
