Solution
CCK:
CCK or cholecystokinin is a peptide hormone.
It is secreted from the endocrine cells of the duodenum and jejunum.
It is responsible for stimulating the digestion of fat and protein.
CCK improves the digestion process by slowing down the emptying of food from the stomach thereby regulating gastric emptying and satiety.
It stimulates bile secretion from the gallbladder by stimulating contraction and relaxation. It also induces the secretion of pancreatic juices.
