Does changing volume affect Concentration?

Open in App
Solution

The affect of volume on concentration:

Step 1: The relationship between volume and concertation is given by C=m/V where, C is the concentration of the solution, m= number of moles, V=volume of the solution.

Step 2: If the volume of the solution is increased, the concentration will also decrease with affecting number of moles present in the solution.

Hence, The volume will affect the concentration of the solution.
