Solution
1) Social differences become social divisions and lead to conflict when differences of people in a society overlap or cross between each other. For instance, Dalits are neglected section in a society who are denied of their rights and often face discrimination from upper sections of society.
2) When such people feel that they are neglected, differences occur and social divisions grow thereby leading to conflict for justice and equality for their rights in the society.
3) Also, it is not necessary that social differences lead to social divisions. It may divide people in a society, but at the same time try to create unity among different sections of people.
