Question

does fibrous roots have secondary and tertiary roots like tap root?

Open in App
Solution

No fibrous roots do not grow upto secondary and tertiary root system because the growth system of the radicle is arrested at an early phase. Due to this reason, primary root does not live for long time and therefore, it is replaced by large number of roots and constitute the fibrous root system..
