Does force depend on acceleration?

Open in App
Solution

Newton's second law

  1. We know that, According to Newton's second law.
    F=ma
    Where F is the force applied, m is the mass of the object, and a is the acceleration.
  2. Since from Newton's second law the force is directly proportional to acceleration.
  3. As the acceleration increases, the force increases and when the acceleration decreases the force decreases.

Hence, the force depends on acceleration.
