Question

does light have mass? If no, why can't it escape through black hole's gravity as massless objects don't affect gravity? If yes, how it is created in tubelights as mass can neither be created nor be destroyed?

Solution

Dear student

Light has no mass but has energy and momentum only. So in Black hole objects or particles which are having heavy masses are attracted towards gravity. Also light has very high velocity .

In tubelights energy is not created but conversion of electrical energy to light energy took place.
