does mustard have 2 scientific names? is both Brassica juncea and Brassica campestris the scientific name of mustard ? If yes then wont it create confusion . Scientific names are there to have a common name all over the world.

Brassica is a genus of plants in the mustard family. juncea and campestris are the species nane. Brassica juncea is commonly known as brown mustard/Indian mustard/Chinese mustard while Brassica campestris is commonly known as Field mustard.
