Does sound follow the same laws of reflection as light does? Explain.

The laws of reflection can be pictorially represented as given below,

1. The angle of incidence of a sound wave is equal to the angle of reflection, and the same is the case for light waves($\angle i=\angle r$ and ${\theta }_1={\theta }_2$)
2. The incident sound wave, normal and reflected sound wave, lie in the same plane, similar to light waves
3. An application of reflection of sound which is made use of by bats and SONARs is called echo.

The above statements constitute the laws of reflection, and hence, sound does follow the same laws of reflection as light does.
