"Does sun rises from east" is correct or "Wherever the sun rises from is East"??

Dear Student,
The earth rotates on its axis from east to west direction. The sun stays in its position at the centre of our solar system. It is not the sun that rises in east and sets in west, it is our earth's axis rotation direction that make sun appears to rise in east direction and set in west direction. So, the rotation of earth from east direction to west make sun appear rises from east.
Earth rotate in the same direction from east to west so we can say that wherever the sun rises from, its always the east direction.
