Does suspension show Tyndall effect give reason

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,Tyndall effect is due to scattering of light by particles of colloids. Those substance whose molecular size is in between 1 nm to 100 nm will do this. In suspension the particle size are too big to scatter the light. That is why suspension will not scatter light. Regards
