(a) A change in which one or more new substances are formed is called a chemical change. When steam is condensed, it becomes water. Only the state of H2O changes. A new substance is not formed. So, it is not a chemical change.
(b) When two liquids are immiscible and are taken together in a funnel, the heavier liquid forms the bottom layer and the lighter liquid forms the top layer.
