Given,
x+y=6
=>y=6x
Substituting different values of x to get corresponding values of y, we get
(0,6),(1,5),(1,7),(2,4),(2,8)
Plotting these points on the graph, we get the graph of the equation, x+y=6
From the graph drawn we can see that, M(2,4) lies on the graph of x+y=6
