We know, if rate of change of function is constant then function is linear.

From above table we can see ordered pairs (-5,14),(-1,12),(3,10),(7,8).

As x increases with constant value 4 and y decreases with constant value 2. The rate of change is constant.

Hence, table represents a linear function.
