=Total quantity of apples purchased quantity of apples packed for friends

Now, quantity of apples packed for friends
=4 kg 100 g+3 kg 300 g

To add these quantities, we separately add grams and kilograms.
Quantity of apples packed for friends =7 kg 400 g

Hence, quantity of apples Donald kept for himself
