Solution

Doors of house swell up in the rainy season due to imbibition. It is a physical process of adsorption of water on the surface of adsorbent material. During rainy season the concentration of water vapor is more in air and if the doors are not properly protected by paints or varnishes the wood in them will imbibe water from water vapors present in air and swell.
