Dosa is made from its batter, which is a liquid. When we heat the batter on the pan, a solid, dosa is formed. How can heating a liquid change into a solid?

On heating, some substances changes from liquid state to solid. This is due to the increase in intermolecular attraction ( in some cases, it is due to strong hydrogen bond)

in the case of dosa batter, on heating, molecules of dosa batter comes closer hence it forms a strong intermolecular force
So it become solid
