Solution

The correct option is A 1.9 lb,11.4 lb
Quantity of flour bought on week 3=9.5 lb
Quantity of flour bought on week 3=5 times the quantity of flour bought on week 1
Quantity of flour bought on week 3= Quantity of flour bought on week 1×5
Using related division equation:
Quantity of flour bought on week 1= Quantity of flour bought on week 1÷5
=9.5÷5
9.5÷5=1.9lb
Quantity of flour bought on week 1=1.9 lb
Quantity of flour bought on week 2=6 times the eggs bought on week 1
Quantity of flour bought on week 2= Quantity of flour bought on week 1×6=1.9×6
1.9×6=11.4
Quantity of flour bought on Week 2=11.4 lb
Hence, option C is correct.
