Here, we can see that Dr. Sanat was performing an experiment in which he was pouring chemicals from test tubes.

Total volume of chemical in test tubes = 50 mL × 3 = 150 mL

=> Amount of chemical in the vessel before the experiment = 100 mL

=> Total amount of chemical in the vessel = 100 + 150 = 250 mL

=> Total amount of chemical (in L) = 2501000 = 0.25 L {Since 1000 mL = 1 L}

Hence, the total amount of chemical in the vessel during Dr. Sanat’s experiment is 250 mL.
