Draw a circle and any two of its diameters.If you join the ends of these diameters, what is the figure obtained?

Let us draw a circle of radius 5cm

1.Mark point O as the center.

2.Let us make a circle of radius 5cm, we measure 5cm using ruler and compass.

3.Now keeping compass opened the same length. We keep pointed end at the centre and draw a circle using the pencil end of the compass. So, this is the circle with centre O and radius OP=5cm.

Let us draw two diameters AB and CD

Joining ends of the diameter

On measuring ,
AD=BC=4.3cm

AC=BD=2.5cm and

A=B=C=D=90

So, ABCD is a rectangle
