Draw a circle and mark the fractional part 38 by colouring it.
First of all, we need to draw a circle with a suitable radius.
Draw a line from the circle to its centre.
\( \theta \)
Since we have to mark ⅜, which means dividing the circle in 8 equal parts and then marking 3 parts out of it.
We can divide 360 by 8 and we will get: 360/8 = 45. So each part is 45°.
This means we can use set squares to draw isn’t it.
Next, use the set square which has a 45° vertex and place its base along the line which you have drawn earlier and then draw the line, making 45°.

So with repeating the above step, we have drawn the circle and marked 8 different parts.
\( \theta \)
At the last simply color the 3 parts out of it.
In this way we are able to mark ⅜ of the circle.
