Draw a circle of any radius and divide it using a 30⁰ - 60⁰ - 90⁰ set square from the sides with 30⁰ between them. How many divisions you will get?

Solution

1. Draw a circle of any radius (say 7 cm).
2. Now place one edge of the set square on the radius of circle and draw the line from other edge as shown.

3. Now place the edge of set square on the newly drawn line and repeat the process till we complete the whole circle.

So we get 12 divisions as 36030 = 12.
