Draw a circle of radius 3.6 cm, take a point M on it. Draw a tangent ot the circle at M without using centre of the circle.

Steps of construction:
1. Draw a circle of radius 3.6 cm and centre O.
2. Take a point M on the circle.
3. Draw the chord MK of any length.
4. Take any point P on the alternate arc of KXM other than K and M.
5. Join MP and KP. So, KPM is formed.
6. Draw ray MT making an angle equal to KPM using KM as one side and vertex M.
7. The line l containing ray MT is the required tangent.
